MINI Countryman Shadow Edition debuts at Rs. 49 lakh
MINI has launched the Countryman Shadow Edition in India, a locally produced model based on the Countryman Cooper S JCW Inspired. Limited to just 24 units, this petrol-powered vehicle can be booked exclusively on the company's official website. Priced at Rs. 49 lakh, the Shadow Edition sports an all-black exterior with a silver roof and mirror caps, 18-inch grip spoke alloy wheels, and the John Cooper Works Aerodynamics Kit as standard.
The vehicle sports unique design elements and a premium interior
The MINI Countryman Shadow Edition features unique design elements such as Shadow Edition bonnet scoop decals, front fender decals, door entry sills, and Shadow Edition stickers on the roof. Inside, you'll find leather chester malt brown upholstery, electric adjustment for driver and front passenger seats, panoramic sunroof, a multifunctional instrument display, and a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi Sound System. The MINI Excitement Pack features ambient lighting.

The MINI Countryman Shadow Edition is packed with premium features like the Harman Kardon Hi-Fi speaker system, sunroof, MINI Wired Package with MINI Navigation System and Touch Controller, Bluetooth mobile connectivity, and wireless charging. The multifunction digital display provides a clear view of speed, gear, fuel level, temperature, mileage, and navigation instructions. The iconic circular central instrument panel is surrounded by an LED ring offering a brilliant color display on an 8.8-inch touchscreen, which supports Apple CarPlay.

Under the hood, the MINI Countryman Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine, backed by MINI TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine generates a peak output of 178hp at 5,000-6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 280Nm at 1,350-4,600rpm. The car can sprint to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 225km/h. It comes with a 7-speed double clutch steptronic sport transmission with paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience.

The MINI Countryman Shadow Edition offers MINI Driving Modes that allow for an individualized vehicle set-up focusing on ride comfort, enhanced sportiness, or efficiency according to the driver's preference. Driver assistance systems include cruise control, park distance control, and a rear-view camera. The vehicle is equipped with advanced safety technology, featuring 3-point seatbelts, brake assist, crash sensor, dynamic stability control (DSC), front and passenger airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and run-flat indicator as standard.
