2021 Tata Safari SUV delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 16.14km/liter
Tata Motors' 2021 Safari SUV, which was unveiled on January 26, will be launched in India on February 22. In the latest development, the mileage figures of the four-wheeler have been reportedly revealed. The manual and automatic transmission variants will deliver an Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI)-certified fuel economy of 16.14km/liter and 14.08km/liter, respectively. 2021 Tata Safari: At a glance
The 2021 Tata Safari comes with a stepped roof, roof spoiler, a shark fin antenna, a muscular bonnet, a chromed grille, Xenon HID projector headlights with dual-function LED DRLs, and a silvered skid plate. It is flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and 18-inch alloy wheels. On the rear end, wrap-around twin light LED taillamps, a window wiper, and "SAFARI" lettering are available.
Power and performance
In India, the 2021 Tata Safari will draw power from a BS6-compliant Kryotec 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 170.3hp and a peak torque of 350Nm. The mill will be linked to a 6-speed manual or an automatic torque converter gearbox.
A peek inside the cabin
The 2021 Tata Safari has a spacious 7-seater cabin with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It houses a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.8-inch floating infotainment console with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and iRA connected car technology. All standard safety features, including multiple airbags, are also available.
What about the pricing?
