MG Hector Blackstorm Edition launched at ₹21.25 lakh: Check features
MG Motor has introduced the latest addition to their lineup, the Hector Blackstorm Edition, in India. The petrol-CVT variant starts at ₹21.25 lakh, while the diesel-MT 6-seater variant is priced at up to ₹22.76 lakh, ex-showroom, India. This new edition is priced ₹25,000 higher than the standard SUV model. Buyers of the Hector Blackstorm Edition can choose between petrol and diesel engines. The premium SUV is available in three seating configurations: 5-, 6-, and 7-seater options.
Hector Blackstorm Edition: Unique exterior features
The Hector Blackstorm Edition is MG's third vehicle to receive the special edition treatment, following the Gloster and Astor models. It is based on the Sharp Pro trim. The exterior features a Starry-black color scheme, replacing all chrome details with a gun-metal finish. This is further enhanced by red highlights on various parts including wing mirrors, headlamp enclosures and brake calipers. The 18-inch alloys and roof rails have been given a glossy black finish, adding to the vehicle's distinctive look.
Inside the Hector Blackstorm Edition: Interior features
The interior of the Hector Blackstorm Edition continues the black theme with gun metal accents on the center console, AC vents, door trims and steering wheel. The seats are covered in black leatherette with 'Blackstorm' embossed on front headrests. This cohesive design approach extends the exterior's Starry-black color scheme into the vehicle's cabin, creating a unified aesthetic experience for passengers.
Hector Blackstorm Edition: Advanced features and powertrain
The Hector Blackstorm Edition is equipped with features such as a 14.0-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, digital driver's display, LED projector headlamps, LED connected tail lamps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity options, and a wireless phone charger. It offers two powertrain options: a petrol-CVT and diesel-MT. The petrol-MT powertrain is not available in the Blackstorm edition but can be found in all other seating configurations.
