Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB launched in India at Rs. 63.6 lakh
German automaker Mercedes-Benz has launched its 2021 E-Class Long Wheel Base (LWB) model in India. It is offered in five variants and starts at Rs. 63.6 lakh. The E-Class LWB is identical to the standard 2020 E-Class but offers more cabin space thanks to a longer wheelbase. It is offered with a choice of three BS6-compliant engines. Here are more details.
The car has an all-LED lighting setup
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB borrows styling cues from the standard E-Class. It has a sloping roofline, a muscular bonnet, a chromed grille with the company's logo in the center, LED headlamps, and taillights. It is flanked by blacked-out B-pillars, body-colored ORVMs, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The car is offered in six color options including Polar White, Obsidian Black, and Mojave Silver.
It is offered with three engine choices
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB is offered with three BS6-complaint engine options: a 197hp, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor; a 194hp, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, diesel mill; and a 3.0-liter straight-six, diesel unit that delivers 286hp. All the engines are linked to a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The vehicle has a tech-loaded 5-seater cabin
Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB has a 5-seater cabin with a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a 590W Burmester audio system, and reclinable rear seats. It houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment console, and another touchscreen for the rear passengers. For safety, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, parking sensors, and a 360-degree-view parking camera are available.

In India, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB starts at Rs. 63.6 lakh for the base E 200 Expression (petrol) model and goes up to Rs. 80.9 lakh for the range-topping E 350d AMG Line (diesel) variant (both prices, ex-showroom).
