    What's the story

    Mercedes-Benz has started accepting bookings for the A-Class Limousine in India.

    The premium model, which was first unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo, will be launched in the country as the most-affordable Mercedes sedan in the coming months.

    Notably, interested buyers can pre-book the car via the company's dealerships for a token amount of Rs. 2 lakh.

    A look at the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine

    The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine gets a coupe-inspired curved roof design with a minimalistic grille, trapezoidal air inlets, a sporty side profile with angular-looking alloy wheels, blacked-out B-pillars, and indicator-mounted ORVMs.

    The car houses sleek LED headlights with mounted DRLs and gets a neat rear profile with dual exhausts as well as LED tail lamps.

    Interiors

    Inside the cabin

    Inside, the A-Class Limousine offers a spacious and luxurious cabin that can accommodate five people. The car gets a panoramic sunroof, a leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel, and a piano-black treatment on the dashboard.

    The sedan houses a twin-display setup with MBUX connected technology for driver display and infotainment panel.

    Further, it offers seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and a reverse camera with parking sensors.

    Power and performance

    The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine will be available with BS6-compliant 2.0-liter petrol and diesel engine options. However, the power figures of these units are yet to be revealed. To handle the transmission duties, the car will get a 7-speed automatic DCT system.

    And, what about pricing?

    Mercedes-Benz will reveal the pricing details of the A-Class Limousine at its launch event itself which is likely to happen sometime later this year.

    In India, the car will be offered in three variants: A-Class Limousine Petrol, A-Class Limousine Diesel, and performance-oriented Mercedes-AMG A-Class.

    As per the reports, it is expected to be priced around Rs. 40 lakh.
