Maserati launches three new premium cars in India
What's the story
Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has launched the petrol-powered variants of its premium cars, the Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte in India.
The new models start at Rs. 1.31 crore for the base-end Ghibli model and go upto Rs. 1.73 crore for the top-of-the-line Quattroporte S.
Interestingly, the petrol-powered V6 engine that fuels these cars is built by Ferrari.

Exteriors
First, a look at the three cars
The Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante feature an eye-catching sporty design with chrome-finished grille and the company's signature emblem.
The former two feature a sedan styling, while the latter comes with an SUV crossover look.
Apart from that, all three models house dual-exhausts, 20 or 21-inch sporty-looking alloy wheels, and an all-LED setup for lighting.

Inside the cabin
Inside, all three cars offer an ultra-luxurious five-seater cabin featuring 'Pieno Fiore' leather upholstery with three color options, and a Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
These models also get a fully-digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, and a revised climate control setup.
Besides that, they offer all standard safety features including airbags, ABS with EBD, and parking assist sensors.
Engine
Power and performance
The Maserati Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte draw power from a Ferrari-sourced 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine which comes mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission system.
The unit is available in two states of tune and is capable of producing 350bhp or 430bhp of maximum power and 500Nm or 580Nm of peak torque.

And, how much do they cost?
The petrol-powered Maserati Ghibli starts at Rs. 1.31 crore for the standard model and goes upto Rs. 1.44 crore for the S trim.
The Levante is available at Rs. 1.41 crore and goes upto Rs. 1.53 crore for the premium S variant.
Lastly, the Quattroporte costs Rs. 1.63 crore for the entry-level model and Rs. 1.73 crore for the top-end S variant.
