Maruti Suzuki XL6 launched in India at Rs. 9.80 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new XL6 in India at a starting price of Rs. 9.80 lakh. The Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), offered in Alpha and Zeta variants, is available in both manual as well as automatic transmission options. Maruti Suzuki XL6: At a glance
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with a sporty look featuring a redesigned cascading grille with chrome garnish, sleek headlamps, chrome finished door handles, and a blacked-out treatment on ORVMs and wheel arches. As for electronic features, the all-new MPV sports LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and indicators, fog lamps, and LED taillamps.
Inside the cabin
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 sports a blacked-out six-seater cabin with leather upholstery. As for seating arrangement, it comes with a 2+2+2 layout and houses captain seats on the second row and a two-seater bench on the third row. As far as electronic features are concerned, the car features a SmartPlay Studio infotainment system that offers connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Power and performance
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-liter petrol engine which comes with mild-hybrid technology and churns out 105bhp power and 138nm peak torque. Both variants of the XL6 get five-speed manual gearbox as standard and a four-speed automatic transmission as optional.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes equipped with disc brakes on the front, drum brakes on the rear, along with ABS and EBD for improved road handling. The automatic variants of the XL6 also get ESP (electronic stability program) and hill hold control function. Further, the cabin offers dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, and engine immobilizer for anti-theft provision.
And, what about pricing?
As for the pocket pinch, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 starts at Rs. 9.80 lakh for the manual Zeta model and goes upto Rs. 11.46 lakh for the automatic Alpha variant. At this price point, the MPV will go up against rivals such as Mahindra Marazzo, Renault Lodgy, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
