Maruti Suzuki XL6 to launch in India on August 21
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the XL6 multi-purpose vehicle in India on August 21. The upcoming MPV will be positioned above the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and is expected to arrive at a price of under Rs. 10 lakh. Notably, the pre-bookings for the XL6 are underway via Maruti Suzuki's NEXA dealerships against a token amount of Rs. 11,000. Here's our roundup.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 sports a chrome-finished trapezoidal front grille with electronically adjustable ORVMs, roof rails, and blacked-out claddings on wheel wells and rear bumper. For lighting, the MPV houses LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, fog lamps, and LED taillights. Furthermore, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 has a wheelbase of 2,740mm and it will be offered in six color options.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 sports a six-seater blacked-out cabin with leather upholstery and a multifunctional steering wheel. As for electronic features, it comes with a SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system which offers connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The cabin also gets dual front airbags, seat belt reminder for driver and front passenger, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Power and performance
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is powered by a 1.5-liter BS6 compliant petrol engine which is mated to a mild hybrid system. This engine is capable of producing 104bhp of maximum power and 138Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, it gets a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and a four-speed automatic transmission as optional.
