Maruti Suzuki eVX's interior and features to be revealed tomorrow
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to unveil the interior design of its eVX concept at the 2023 Japanese Mobility Show tomorrow. First introduced as a concept at the Auto Expo 2023, the eVX will be Maruti's debut electric vehicle (EV). Its production is slated for late 2024, with the final product being produced at Maruti's Gujarat facility in India.
Leaked images show angular design and touch-sensitive controls
Recently leaked images of the Maruti Suzuki eVX's interior showcase a sharp design, including a large bezel-free display, a rectangular four-spoke steering wheel, and an ornate gear selector dial. Touch-sensitive controls for windows and ORVMs are also expected. Despite the bold and angular concept car, spy images of test mules reveal a conventional shape with a familiar Suzuki interior design. The EV will accommodate five passengers, but Suzuki has also hinted at a three-row model for markets like India.
The eVX is claimed to boast a range of 500km
With a length of 4.3 meters and a 2.6-meter wheelbase, the eVX is positioned to compete with similar vehicles in its segment. Built on a dedicated BEV platform, it will boast a battery capacity that offers a range of 500km. Upon its release, the eVX will take on electric offerings from Hyundai, Skoda, Honda, Volkswagen, Kia, and others.
