Maruti Suzuki Ciaz available with a heavy discount: Details here
Maruti Suzuki has recently updated its popular sedan, the Ciaz, with a new 1.5-liter diesel engine, while discontinuing the 1.3-liter diesel unit. However, select dealerships across the country, which are still left with the stocks of the latter, are reportedly offering heavy discounts to clear them. As part of that, interested buyers can avail upto Rs. 1.5 lakh discount along with a 5-year warranty.
A look at the pricing of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
As for pricing, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz falls under Rs. 8.19-11.38 lakh price bracket in India. And, now the dealerships are offering upto Rs. 1.15 lakh discount on 1.3-liter diesel variants, which includes Rs. 55,000 cash discount, Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus, and Rs. 10,000 corporate discount.
Meanwhile, here's recalling the Ciaz
To recall, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes with a sporty design featuring a cascading grille surrounded by chrome highlights, trapezoidal air-intake, and blacked-out B-pillars. The sedan comes with indicator-mounted ORVMs, chrome-finished door handles, alloy wheels, and chrome garnishing on the tailgate. For lighting, the car houses projector headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lights, and LED taillamps.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Ciaz features a five-seater blacked-out cabin with leather upholstery, automatic climate control, and a multifunctional steering wheel. The car houses a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, push button start-stop function, and company's SmartPlay infotainment system that supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. It also offers safety features like ABS with EBD, upto six airbags, and a rearview camera with parking sensors.
And, what about powertrain?
The 1.3-liter diesel engine on the Ciaz, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, churns out 89bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of peak torque at 1,750rpm. However, the updated 1.5-liter diesel mill produces 94bhp of power and 225Nm of peak torque.
