Mahindra XUV 3XO to go official in India tomorrow
The much-awaited reveal of the updated Mahindra XUV300, now rebranded as the Mahindra XUV 3XO, is set to take place tomorrow (April 29). This compact SUV will feature a variety of aesthetic enhancements and powertrain updates. The exterior will sport a redesigned grille, new alloy wheels, and connected taillights. Inside, passengers can expect a refreshed dashboard layout and an unattached touchscreen.
Mahindra XUV 3OO: At a glance
The exterior of the revamped XUV 3XO will feature a new look with triangular accents in the grille, updated headlight casings, and fang-shaped LED daytime running lights. The vehicle will also sport projector headlights and fog lamps. The rear shall be updated with connected LED taillights, a higher bumper, and a redesigned tailgate featuring the new lighting arrangement.
Inside the cabin
Significant changes inside the XUV 3XO will include a reimagined dashboard layout, an enlarged free-floating touchscreen, and an improved climate control panel. The SUV is expected to feature dual 10.25-inch displays, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, cruise control, and push-button start/stop. These updates aim to enhance passenger comfort and convenience in the new model.
A look at the powertrains
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is tipped to come equipped with up to six airbags, a 360-degree-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, along with advanced driver assistance systems. Under the hood, the SUV will retain the same petrol and diesel engines as its predecessor. These include a 1.2-liter, turbo-petrol mill generating 110hp; a 1.2-liter, T-GDI, turbo-petrol motor producing 130hp; and a 1.5-liter diesel unit delivering 117hp.
