Sales comparison
Mahindra's sales performance outshines last year's figures
In a YoY comparison, Mahindra's sales have seen a remarkable jump.
The company's February 2025 sales witnessed an impressive jump from the 42,401 units sold in the same month last year.
This jump in sales has contributed to the company's domestic sales growth and establishing it as India's second-largest car manufacturer.
Cumulative sales
Hyundai's cumulative sales surpass Mahindra's
Despite lagging behind in domestic sales, Hyundai's overall sales (including exports) remained at 58,727 units. The company's exports jumped by 6.8% to 11,000 units.
Meanwhile, Mahindra's overall sales (including exports) were slightly lower at 52,386 units with the company exporting just 1,966 units last month.
Veejay Nakra, President (Automotive Division) at Mahindra & Mahindra, credited the automaker's overall robust sales performance to the sustained positive momentum of their SUVs.
