Lotus Eletre, with 600km range, goes official: Check top features
What's the story
British automaker Lotus has revealed its Eletre crossover SUV. Its deliveries will begin in the international markets in 2023.
As for the highlights, the vehicle has a futuristic look, a luxurious tech-forward cabin, and is capable of "end-to-end autonomous driving."
It is propelled by an electric powertrain and promises a range of around 600km on a single charge.

The Eletre is Lotus's first car to be manufactured in Wuhan, China, and introduces a new platform intended for "lifestyle" vehicles.

Lotus Eletre has a grille with interconnected triangular pieces that open when the motors and battery pack need cooling, cameras instead of ORVMs, 22/23-inch wheels, split-style headlights, and a full-width taillamp that can change colors.
It sports four pop-out LiDAR sensors: two on the roof, one above the windscreen, and one above the rear glass.
Dimensions-wise, the car is 5,103mm long and 1,999mm wide.

Lotus Eletre has a four/five-seater cabin with a panoramic glass roof, a 15-speaker surround-sound audio system, a head-up display with augmented reality, a large center console, sports seats with a wool blend fabric trim, and a flat-bottom multifunctional steering wheel.
It houses a 1.18-inch strip instead of an instrument panel and a 15.1-inch landscape-oriented touchscreen infotainment system with support for over-the-air updates.

In the US, the Lotus Eletre electric SUV is expected to carry a starting price-tag of around $120,000 (roughly Rs. 91 lakh). It will be up for grabs in the country from 2024 onward.
