Royal Enfield to launch four new models by 2025
India's leading motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, is set to expand its product range with new bikes in the 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc categories. The company has a history of consistent new launches and aims to maintain this momentum in the coming years. The first model on the horizon is the Royal Enfield Hunter 450, currently under development and recently spotted in a ready-for-production test mule.
Royal Enfield Hunter 450
The Royal Enfield Hunter 450, a 450cc roadster, is set to be the first new model from the company. The motorcycle will borrow its chassis from the Himalayan 450 but shall feature a unique rear sub-frame. Powering this new model will be the Sherpa 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, capable of producing an impressive 39.47hp and peak torque of 40Nm.
Royal Enfield Classic 650
The Royal Enfield Classic 650, an upscaled version of the top-selling Classic 350, is slated for a Diwali 2024 release. This model will share its underpinnings with the Shotgun 650. The power for this new addition comes from a familiar 648cc, parallel-twin engine that delivers a robust output of 47.4hp and peak torque of 52.4Nm.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650
The third new model from Royal Enfield, the Scrambler 650, is tipped to debut by the end of 2024. This motorcycle will share its base with the Interceptor 650 as well as Continental GT 650. The Scrambler will come equipped with long travel inverted forks at the front, a round digital instrument cluster from the Himalayan 450, and a single-piece seat among other features.
Royal Enfield Bobber 350
The final addition to the new lineup, will be the innovative Royal Enfield Bobber 350, based on the Classic 350. This model will stand out with its raised Ape Hanger-type handlebar, round headlamp, and a teardrop design fuel tank. The Bobber 350 will be fueled by the familiar 349cc, J-series single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine, and is expected to hit Indian roads by mid-2024.
