Jeep has unveiled the Compass Night Eagle edition in India, with prices starting from ₹25.39 lakh. This exclusive model is an all-black version of the popular SUV, designed to meet the growing demand for black or dark edition vehicles. The Compass Night Eagle is based on the Longitude (O) model and is equipped with a diesel motor with front-wheel drive. The latest model enhances the Jeep Compass lineup in the Indian market.
The SUV boasts all-black 18-inch alloy wheels
The Compass Night Eagle, first introduced in 2022, has returned with several updates. The SUV features a blacked-out grille and roof rails, black 18-inch alloy wheels, and the 'Night Eagle' badging. The interior also continues the all-black theme but is accented with subtle silver highlights for contrast. The SUV comes in three exterior colors: black, white, and red.
What's new in the cabin?
The Compass Night Eagle comes with features such as front and rear dashcams, a rear entertainment unit, premium carpet mats, underbody lighting, an air purifier, and ambient lights. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, connected car tech, and a wireless charger.
Powertrain details and competitors
The Compass Night Eagle is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine paired with front-wheel drive, delivering 170hp of peak power and 350Nm torque. It offers either a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 9-speed torque converter automatic. The newly launched variant competes with models Tata Harrier Dark edition, newly launched MG Hector Blackstorm, and the Mahindra XUV700 featuring a Napoli Black paint scheme.
