Oben Rorr e-bike to debut in India on March 15
Bengaluru-based Oben Electric has announced that it will introduce its Rorr motorbike in India on March 15. Its deliveries should commence in the second quarter of this year. As for the highlights, the two-wheeler has a head-turning look and offers split-style seats as well as a large instrument cluster. It runs on an electric powertrain and promises a range of 200km per charge.

The bike has alloy wheels and LED turn indicators
The Oben Rorr has a sloping fuel tank-like structure with extensions, split-style seats, a two-piece pillion grab rail, a circular headlight, and a raised handlebar. It sports a triple-tone shade. The bike packs LED turn indicators, a digital instrument cluster, and rides on five-spoke alloy wheels. However, its kerb weight and ground clearance will be disclosed at the time of launch.
It will hit a top speed of 100km/h
The Oben Rorr will pack an electric motor linked to a fixed battery pack. The power figures are currently unavailable but the vehicle will attain a top speed of 100km/h and promise a range of 200km per charge.
There will be disc brakes on both the ends
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Oben Rorr will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. It might also get ABS for improved handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the electric bike will be taken care of by inverted telescopic forks on the front side and a shock absorber on the rear end.
Oben Rorr: Pricing and availability
The availability and pricing details of the Oben Rorr in India will be announced at the time of its launch. However, it is expected to cost around Rs. 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and should be available in a single variant.
