2022 MG ZS EV's India launch set for March 7
British automaker MG Motor has announced that the 2022 version of its ZS EV SUV will be launched in India on March 7. As for the highlights, the car will have a refreshed look and a spacious cabin with new features. It will draw power from an electric powertrain and shall promise a range of around 480km on a single charge.

The 2022 MG ZS EV will have a sculpted bonnet, a body-colored front grille with a repositioned charging port, a new front bumper with silver inserts, and swept-back headlights similar to the Astor. It will be flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The car will be offered in white, silver, red, and gray shades.
It offers a range of around 480km per charge
The new MG ZS EV will be fueled by an electric motor paired with a 51kWh battery pack. The power figures are currently unavailable but the vehicle is tipped to deliver a range of around 480km on a single charge.
The four-wheeler will get a sunroof and adjustable headrests
The upcoming MG ZS EV will have a 5-seater cabin featuring a panoramic sunroof, a folding armrest with cupholders, and adjustable headrests for the rear passengers. It will pack a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The safety of the passengers will be ensured by multiple airbags, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Detection.
2022 MG ZS EV: Pricing and availability
MG will announce the availability and pricing details of the 2022 ZS EV in India at the upcoming launch event. However, it should cost more than the outgoing model which begins at Rs. 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
