2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk to go official on February 28
US automaker Jeep has announced that it will launch the 2022 Compass Trailhawk SUV in India on Monday (February 28). To recall, the car was earlier listed on the brand's website here. As for the highlights, the vehicle will sport a new design and a spacious tech-loaded cabin. Under the hood, it will be fueled by a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter diesel engine.

The Trailhawk will be the rugged and off-road-biased version of the Jeep Compass and should be priced competitively on our shores. The car will flaunt 17-inch wheels and a tow hook
The new Jeep Compass Trailhawk will have a multi-slot grille, a raised bonnet, a wide air dam, LED projector headlamps, and dual-tone paintwork. On the sides, it will be flanked by roof rails, ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Wraparound LED taillights, a red-colored tow hook, and a roof-mounted antenna will be available on the rear section.
It will run on a 170hp, 2.0-liter engine
Jeep Compass Trailhawk will be fueled by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that will generate 170hp/350Nm. The mill will be paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. Dynamic steering torque and frequency selective damping suspension will ensure better performance.
The four-wheeler will get five seats and a 360-degree-view camera
The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk will have a dual-tone 5-seater cabin, featuring a panoramic sunroof, a multifunctional power steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a wireless charger, and ventilated front seats. It will house a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Multiple airbags and a 360-degree-view camera will ensure the passengers' safety.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk: Pricing and availability
Jeep will announce the availability and pricing details of the 2022 Compass Trailhawk in India at the time of its debut. However, it should carry some premium over the standard Compass, which starts at Rs. 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
