Land Rover Classic reveals limited-run Defender Works V8 Trophy SUV
Land Rover Classic has revealed its Defender Works V8 Trophy car for an exclusive competition at Eastnor Castle this year. It is based on the re-engineered 2012-2016 Defender Works V8 and its production is limited to 25 units. As for the highlights, the vehicle looks sporty and comes with upgrades tailored for off-road usage. It runs on a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine.

The Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy is offered in 90 and 110 Station Wagon body styles, finished in an Eastnor Yellow paintwork with matching 16-inch steel wheels. A Narvik Black paint job is visible on the bonnet, wheel arches, and rear door. The car also sports a Heritage front grille, LED headlights, Land Rover Trophy badging, and personalized event participation graphics.
A peek inside the cabin
The Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy has a spacious cabin, featuring full black Windsor leather upholstery, yellow stitching, Recaro sports seats, and a Land Rover Trophy clock face by Elliot Brown. The vehicle houses the brand's Classic Infotainment System with mobile device connectivity and an integrated navigation facility. All standard safety features, including multiple airbags, are also available.

The Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy also comes with an extra all-terrain kit which includes a multi-point expedition cage, front winch, roof rack, underbody protection, raised air dam, LED spotlights, and mud-terrain tires.
Power and performance
Under the hood, the Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy draws power from a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine which is linked to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 498hp and a peak torque of 515Nm. The limited-run SUV also gets upgrades to its braking, steering, and suspension.

In the UK, the price of the Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy starts at £1,95,000 (approximately Rs. 1.96 crore) for the 90 body style. The car can be directly ordered from Land Rover Classic. It is unlikely to be introduced in India.
