New features for the Kia Sonet in India: Check details
Kia Motors will offer new features in its Sonet subcompact SUV soon. They will be introduced when the car's prices are hiked in India. The vehicle will get four airbags as standard, while a tire pressure monitoring system and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment panel will be available in the HTX variant. However, the design and mechanicals of the four-wheeler are expected to remain unchanged.

The car has 16-inch wheels and LED headlights
The Kia Sonet sports a sculpted hood, a chrome-lined grille, a wide air dam, and narrow LED headlights with DRLs. It is flanked by roof rails, black B-pillars, ORVMs, flared wheel arches, and 16-inch alloy wheels. A shark-fin antenna, a window wiper, and wrap-around LED taillamps are available on the rear end. Dimensions-wise, it has a wheelbase of 2,500mm.
Petrol and diesel engine options are offered
Kia Sonet runs on a 1.2-liter petrol engine (81.8hp/115Nm), a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol mill (118.3hp/172Nm), and a 1.5-liter diesel unit offered in two tunes: 98.6hp/240Nm and 113.4hp/250Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5/6-speed manual, 6-speed AT, 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The vehicle gets a sunroof and a rear-view camera
The Kia Sonet has a 5-seater cabin with ventilated seats, auto climate control, a sunroof, key-less entry, parking sensors, and a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control. It packs a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The passengers' safety is ensured by multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a rear-view camera, EBD, ABS, and crash sensors.

Currently in India, the Kia Sonet starts at Rs. 7.15 lakh for the base 1.2 HTE (petrol) model and goes up to Rs. 13.79 lakh for the 1.5 GTX+ AT (diesel) variant (all prices, ex-showroom).
