Kia now offers live streaming of your car's servicing
Kia Motors has unveiled a new digital after-sales initiative called Kia Krystal, in India. Through this move, the automaker aims to provide better transparency and convenience to its customers. The initiative allows customers real-time access to their car's service procedures through the 'My Kia' app, offering video consulting and live streaming for a comprehensive understanding of their vehicle's servicing.
It is operational in 237 dealerships nationwide
Kia Krystal is currently available in 237 Kia dealerships across India, offering a Live Consultation service. This feature allows customers to virtually supervise their vehicle's service procedures. Additionally, 25 dealerships are already live streaming service procedures, with plans to extend this feature to an additional 60 dealerships by the end of 2024. The initiative has received positive customer feedback for its effectiveness and utility.
Enhancing customer trust and satisfaction
Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head - Sales and Marketing, Kia India, stated that the initiative aims to build more trust by facilitating greater transparency. He noted that many customers opt for the Advance Pick and Drop Service or send their drivers for vehicle service procedures, which may lead to dissatisfaction in the long run due to lack of supervision.
Future plans include post-sales welcome calls
Kia India plans to expand the scope of Kia Krystal by introducing welcome calls for fresh customers post-sales. These calls will serve as an effective onboarding tool, offering comprehensive information about ownership programs and offerings. This is part of Kia's ongoing effort to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen its position as a customer-centric brand, according to Brar.
