Ahead of its official debut, Kawasaki Z H2's images leaked
Japanese automaker Kawasaki is all set to introduce its supercharged motorcycle, the Z H2, at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 23. Now, just days ahead of its global unveiling, the spy images of the upcoming motorcycle have surfaced online, revealing its design highlights. Notably, the Z H2 is likely to share its mechanical specifications with the Ninja H2. Here's more.
Kawasaki Z H2: At a glance
Going by the spy shots, the Kawasaki Z H2 will sport a naked look with an aggressively designed front apron featuring sculpted lines and twin headlamps. The motorcycle will come with matte black finish, a bulky fuel tank, and split seats. Apart from that, it is expected to offer a fully-digital instrument cluster and an all-LED lighting setup.
Power and performance
The Kawasaki Z H2 is likely to retain the mechanical specifications of its cousin, the Ninja H2. Hence, it is expected to be powered by a 998cc engine which comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and produces 240bhp power and 141.7Nm of peak torque.
Kawasaki Z H2: On the road
In terms of safety, the Kawasaki Z H2 is likely to come equipped with disc brakes on both the wheels along with dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding while braking. To handle the suspension duties, the motorcycle is expected to house inverted telescopic forks on the front and a monoshock suspension on the rear.
And, what will be the pricing?
As of now, there is no word on the pricing of Kawasaki Z H2. However, it is expected to cost somewhere around Rs. 30 lakh. The official details will be revealed by the company on October 23.
