Kawasaki Ninja 1000 superbike available with Rs. 1 lakh discount
If you're planning to buy a new superbike for yourself, now might be a good time. As part of the Over Drive Voucher offer, Kawasaki India is offering exciting discounts on some of its premium motorcycles including Rs. 1 lakh off on the 2019 Ninja 1000. Notably, the automaker has announced these discounts to clear the existing stocks of 2019 models. Here's our roundup.
2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000: At a glance
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 comes with an aggressive sporty look featuring a fully-faired design with beefy-looking front apron as well as side fairings, dual-tone body color, and stepped-up seats. The muscular-looking fuel tank, a tall windshield, and blacked-out alloy wheels add to its sporty stance. Besides that, it gets a fully-digital instrument cluster and an all-LED lighting setup.
Power and performance
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is powered by a 1,043cc liquid-cooled, DOHC engine which is capable of producing 142PS of power at 10,000rpm and 111Nm of peak torque at 7,300rpm. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an assist slipper clutch.

In the safety department, the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 comes equipped with disc brakes on both the wheels, along with dual-channel ABS as standard. It also gets several rider friendly electronic aids such as three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function(KCMF), and more. To handle suspension duties, the motorcycle houses telescopic forks up front and a monoshock absorber on the rear.
What about pricing?
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is available at Rs. 10.29 lakh on company's official website, which is the same as its launch price. However, as part of the Over Drive Voucher offer, buyers can avail Rs. 1 lakh flat discount.

Apart from the Ninja 1000, Kawasaki India is also offering attractive discounts on some other 2019 models. There is a Rs. 85,000 discount on the naked sports tourer Kawasaki Z650 and Rs. 75,000 off on the fully-faired Ninja 650. Moreover, the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Ninja 400 are also available with a flat discount of Rs. 60,000.
