Jeep Meridian SUV debuts in India: Check out its features
US automaker Jeep has revealed its Meridian SUV in India. Its production will commence here in May. As for the highlights, the four-wheeler has an imposing look and an upmarket cabin with a bevy of tech-biased features including dual-zone climate control. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that puts out a maximum power of 168hp.

The car flaunts a seven-slot grille and 18-inch wheels
Jeep Meridian has a muscular hood, a seven-slot grille, a front bumper with chrome inserts, silvered faux skid plates, LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and fog lamps. It is flanked by roof rails, ORVMs, black B-pillars, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. An integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, horizontally-positioned reflectors on the bumper, and wrap-around LED taillights grace the rear end.
It has a top-speed of 198km/h
Jeep Meridian runs on a 2.0-liter diesel engine that makes 168hp/350Nm. It is linked to a 6-speed manual/ 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The car can sprint from 0-100kmph in 10.8 seconds and hit a top-speed of 198km/h.
The SUV gets ventilated seats and six airbags
Jeep Meridian has a 7-seater cabin with ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-tone brown and black upholstery, a nine-speaker Alpine-sourced audio system, and a multifunctional steering wheel. It packs a digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Six airbags, ABS, traction control, EBD, and electronic stability control ensure the safety of the passengers.
Jeep Meridian: Pricing and availability
In India, the Jeep Meridian three-row SUV is expected to bear a starting price-tag of around Rs. 26 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the vehicle will begin on our shores in June.
