2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk listed on official website; launch soon
US automaker Jeep is expected to launch the 2022 iteration of its Compass Trailhawk SUV in India next month. In the latest development, the brand has listed the vehicle on its official website here. As for the highlights, the four-wheeler will have a refreshed look and a spacious tech-loaded cabin. It should draw power from a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter diesel engine.

The Trailhawk will be the rugged and off-road-biased version of the Jeep Compass and should attract a lot of buyers in India. The upcoming four-wheeler should be priced competitively on our shores and will surely raise the competition in the SUV segment to a great extent. The car will sport a black grille
The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk will have a muscular bonnet with a decal on it, a blacked-out seven-slot grille, short bumpers, and sleek LED headlights with DRLs. It will be flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and designer alloy wheels shod in dual-purpose tires. A roof-mounted antenna, a window wiper, wrap-around taillamps, and a tow hook will grace the rear end.
It may be fueled by a 168hp, 2.0-liter engine
The upcoming Jeep Compass Trailhawk might run on a 2.0-liter diesel engine that will generate 168hp of power and 350Nm of torque. The mill will be paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system as standard.
The SUV will get a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats
The new Jeep Compass Trailhawk should have a spacious dual-tone 5-seater cabin, featuring ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It will house a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen infotainment system. The safety of the passengers will be ensured by six airbags, a rear-view camera, ABS, EBD, and crash sensors.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk: Pricing and availability
Jeep will disclose the pricing and availability details of the Compass Trailhawk in India at the time of its launch. However, it is expected to carry some premium over the standard Compass which begins at Rs. 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
