Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Turbo to cost Rs. 7.68 lakh
Hyundai Grand I10 NIOS Turbo, the performance-oriented hatchback which debuted at the recently-concluded Auto Expo, is all set to be launched in India. Now, an Autocar report has revealed that the car would cost Rs. 7.68 lakh, making it Rs. 1.25 lakh costlier than the NIOS Sportz model (the variant it is based on). Here's our roundup.
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Turbo: At a glance
The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Turbo comes with a compact look featuring a dual-tone color scheme, a blacked-out grille with Turbo badging, and an angular side profile with blacked-out B-pillars. The car gets indicator-mounted ORVMs, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and 'NIOS' lettering on the tailgate. Apart from that, the hatchback retains the dimensions of the standard Grand i10 NIOS.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the five-seater Grand i10 NIOS Turbo features an all-black cabin with fabric upholstery, rounded AC vents, and a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel. The car houses a semi-digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further, it gets safety features like driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, and a reverse camera with parking sensors.
Power and performance
The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Turbo draws power from a BS6-compliant 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine which comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The unit is capable of producing 100hp of maximum power and 172Nm of peak torque.

As far as pricing is concerned, the new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Turbo will reportedly carry a premium of Rs. 1.25 lakh over the NIOS Sportz variant and will be priced at Rs. 7.68 lakh. At this price point, the hatchback takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, Tata Tiago JTP, and Volkswagen Polo.
