Going by the spy shots, the Hyundai Aura will feature a sporty design with a Grand i10 NIOS-like front fascia, a cascading grille with honeycomb patterns, blacked-out B-pillars, and trapezoidal air-intake. The car is likely to come with indicator-mounted electronically adjustable ORVMs and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Besides that, it is expected to offer LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, and LED taillights.

Inside, the Aura is likely to get a five seater cabin with rear AC vents, automatic climatic control, and a multifunctional steering wheel. It is expected to come with wireless charging support and house an 8-inch infotainment panel with support for connectivity features. Furthermore, the car should offer safety features like driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, and rearview camera with parking sensors.
Power and performance
The Hyundai Aura will be offered in three BS6-compliant engine options: a 1.0-liter petrol, a 1.2-liter petrol, and a 1.2-liter diesel. The company has not revealed the power figures of these units as of now. However, it has confirmed that the car will be available with both manual as well as AMT gearbox options.
And, what about pricing and availability?
Some reports suggest that the subcompact sedan will be launched in India during the 2020 Auto Expo. As for the pricing, it is likely to fall under Rs. 6-9 lakh price bracket and take on the likes of Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Tiago, and Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Meanwhile, Hyundai has not revealed the pricing and availability details of the Aura as of now.
