Big discounts on Honda cars in India this May
Honda is welcoming the summer season with a substantial sale, offering hefty discounts and benefits on several models. The sale includes popular cars such as the Honda City, City e:HEV, Amaze, and the Elevate. This move is part of the company's strategy to meet sales targets, and clear out old inventory. The highest discount offered is up to ₹1.15 lakh.
A look at Honda City's discounts
The top-spec ZX variant of the Honda City is offered with benefits worth up to ₹88,000, while lower variants offer total benefits of up to ₹78,000. The V (MT and CVT), and VX (MT only) models of the updated Honda City come with benefits worth ₹58,000. The maximum discount is offered on the City Elegant Edition, where customers can avail a discount of ₹1.15 lakh.
Honda City gets a 1.5-liter engine
The City Elegant Edition, launched in October last year, features exclusive elements such as an LED high-mount stop light, and an extra rear spoiler mounted on the boot. The Honda City sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that generates 121hp and 145Nm, offering transmission options of a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
What about Amaze and City e:HEV?
The base-spec E version of Honda Amaze offers benefits of up to ₹56,000, while S and VX variants offer benefits worth up to ₹66,000. The highest discount of ₹96,000 is applicable on unsold stock of the Amaze Elite Edition. Meanwhile, the hybrid version of Honda City offers benefits worth up to ₹65,000 for the V variant.
What about Honda Elevate?
The Honda Elevate offers savings worth up to ₹55,000 for the V variant and up to ₹45,000 for other trims. The top-spec ZX model provides savings of up to ₹25,000. The powertrain options for the Honda Elevate SUV are identical to those offered by the City sedan, ensuring a consistent performance across models.
