Honda recalls CB350, H'ness CB350 bikes in India: Here's why
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has initiated a recall of certain units of its CB350 and H'ness CB350 models. The recall is due to issues identified with the wheel speed sensor and camshaft in these motorcycles. The affected bikes were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. However, the exact number of motorcycles impacted by these issues has not been disclosed by the company.
Faulty wheel speed sensor could lead to ineffective braking
HMSI has discovered that an improper molding procedure may allow water to seep into the wheel speed sensor. This could result in a malfunction of the speed sensor, leading to errors in the speedometer, traction control or ABS intervention. In extreme cases, this issue could cause ineffective braking and potentially serious accidents, especially at high speeds.
HMSI to replace faulty parts free of cost
HMSI has assured that the replacement of these affected parts will be carried out free of cost at its BigWing dealerships across India. This applies regardless of the warranty status of the vehicle. The company is committed to ensuring customer safety and satisfaction by rectifying these potential faults without any additional cost to consumers.
