To commemorate its 100 millionth cumulative production milestone, Hero MotoCorp has launched a 100 Million Edition of its Glamour motorcycle in India. The new variant sports a dual-tone red and white paintwork, and checkered flag graphics on the fuel tank, headlight cowl, as well as the rear panel. The bike houses a semi-digital instrument console
The Hero Glamour 100 Million Edition has a simple commuter look, featuring a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a single-piece seat, a lengthy exhaust, dual-tone paint job, and sporty graphics. The bike packs a semi-digital instrument cluster, a halogen headlamp, a LED taillight, and rides on split-style alloy wheels. It has a 10-liter fuel tank and tips the scales at 123kg.
It runs on a 125cc engine
The Hero Glamour 100 Million Edition draws power from a BS6-compliant 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 10.7hp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The mill is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike has a drum brake on the rear wheel
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Hero Glamour 100 Million Edition is equipped with a disc/drum brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear wheel. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and 5-step adjustable hydraulic twin-shock absorbers on the rear end.
