    What's the story

Hero MotoCorp has launched a new XTEC variant of its Destini 125 scooter. It is priced at Rs. 79,990.

The new model gets some design changes which give it a premium look along with some new connectivity features.

As for the highlights, the two-wheeler gets a trendy design, a new LED headlight, Bluetooth connectivity, and runs on a 124.6cc engine.

    Context

    Why does this story matter?

After the Glamour 125 and Pleasure+ 110, Hero has added Destini 125 to the list of two-wheelers to get an XTEC edition. As has always been the case, the 'XTEC' badging has made the Destini 125 more tech-friendly.

In a scooter segment that is gradually moving away from ICE-powered offerings, the new Destini 125 XTEC is expected to bring a much-need freshness.
