Ducati Multistrada V4 RS launched in India at ₹38 lakh
Ducati has introduced its most powerful and expensive model, the Multistrada V4 RS, in India. The motorcycle is priced at ₹38.40 lakh (ex-showroom) and stands out as the sportiest version of the Multistrada V4 range. It is powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that delivers 180hp of power at 12,250rpm, and a peak torque of 118Nm at 9,500rpm.
A blend of power and design
The Multistrada V4 RS is equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust system, known for its distinctive sound. The bike's performance is further enhanced by weight reduction measures implemented by Ducati. These include 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminum wheels at both ends, and a titanium subframe that is 2.5kg lighter than those on other Multistrada V4 models. A sleek technopolymer tail section replacing the bulky pillion grab handle and a top box mounting bracket are also available.
It is packed with advanced electronic features
The Multistrada V4 RS is loaded with an extensive electronics suite that comprises four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), engine brake control, traction control, and wheelie control. Additionally, the motorcycle offers a Full Power Mode for maximum performance, and four ride modes (Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban). The bike's sporty aesthetic is highlighted in its Iceberg White color scheme with a contrasting red stripe across the fuel tank and radiator cover.
A look at the suspension and braking
The Multistrada V4 RS features an aluminum monocoque chassis, with electronically-adjustable Ohlins suspension at both front and rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 330mm disks with Brembo Stylema calipers at the front, and a 265mm disk at the back with a Brembo two-piston caliper. Bookings for this model are now open in India, with deliveries expected to commence soon.
