Only 5 units of Ducati's Panigale V4R allotted for India
Italian automaker Ducati has started the delivery of its limited-edition Panigale V4 R bike in India, which was launched in November 2018. The company has allotted only five units of the flagship motorcycle for India and out of them, two have already been delivered. Meanwhile, the bookings for the remaining three units are live via Ducati dealerships across major Indian cities. Here's our roundup.

The Ducati Panigale V4 R comes with a head-turning sporty look featuring a fully-faired design, dual-tone paint job, a muscular-looking fuel tank, and blacked-out alloy wheels. As for electronic features, the motorcycle sports a digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting setup for headlamps, DRLs, side indicators, and taillamps. Further, the motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1,471mm and fuel tank capacity of 16 liters.
Power and performance
The Ducati Panigale V4 R draws power from a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine which is capable of producing 221bhp of power at 15,250rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 11,500rpm. For transmission duties, the motorcycle gets a six-speed manual gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter.
Ducati Panigale V4 R: On the road
The Ducati Panigale V4 R comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels along with Bosch cornering ABS, Ducati traction control, and Ducati slide control for better road handling. The motorcycle houses Ohlins' fully-adjustable 43mm telescopic fork suspension on the front and a monoshock unit on the rear to handle suspension duties.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Ducati Panigale V4 R is available at Rs. 51.87 lakh in India. At this price point, the motorcycle goes up against rivals such as MV Agusta F4 RC and BMW S1000RR.
