Ducati India has launched the DesertX Rally motorcycle, priced at ₹23.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The company describes this model as "the most advanced off-road motorcycle Ducati has ever produced in India." Initially released for the global market, it is now available to Indian customers. Interestingly, this is the same model that represented Ducati at the Erzberg Rodeo 2023 event.

The DesertX Rally motorcycle, while similar to the standard model, boasts several aesthetic improvements and hardware modifications. Its unique livery pays tribute to Ducati's heritage and global rally reputation. The bike's front design features a twin-circular LED headlamp and an elongated beak, enhancing its overall appeal. It is designed for off-road performance, equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel.

Advanced riding modes and safety features of DesertX Rally
The Ducati DesertX Rally offers six unique riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, and Rally - prioritizing rider comfort. It also incorporates high-end safety features such as Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). A 5-inch color TFT screen displays the Ducati Multimedia System for smartphone connectivity to control music, manage calls, and optional turn-by-turn navigation.

Desertx Rally is engineered for off-road performance
The DesertX Rally has a KYB upside-down fork at the front offering 250mm travel and a rear monoshock providing 240mm travel. Additionally, Ohlins steering dampers are mounted on the handlebar. The motorcycle is built around a tubular steel trellis frame that houses a 937cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine delivering 108hp of power and 92Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.
