Ducati unveils limited-run Desert Sled Fasthouse scrambler bike: Details here
Ducati, in association with US clothing brand Fasthouse, has unveiled a limited-run Desert Sled Fasthouse scrambler bike. Its production is limited to 800 units. The model sports cosmetic updates and has a special livery inspired by Ducati's scrambler that won the Mint 400 off-road race in 2020. However, there are no mechanical changes made to the limited-run model. Here are more details.
The bike has a full-LED lighting setup
Ducati Desert Sled Fasthouse sits on a red chassis and comes with a black and gray colored sloping fuel tank, a flat-type seat with non-slip covers, a pronounced beak, and short twin exhausts. The bike packs a digital instrument console and an all-LED setup for lighting. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminium wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally knobby tires.
It runs on a 72hp, 803cc engine
The Ducati Desert Sled Fasthouse draws power from an 803cc L-twin, air-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 72hp at 8,250rpm and 62.2Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm.
Disc brakes on both the wheels ensure safety
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Ducati Desert Sled Fasthouse is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by 46mm fully-adjustable USD forks on the front side and a Kayaba shock absorber with adjustable pre-load on the rear end.
