Renault Captur SUV available with Rs. 3 lakh discount
In an attempt to push sales and clear its existing stock, Renault has joined the likes of Hyundai, Kawasaki, Nissan, and Mahindra to offer attractive discounts on its range of four-wheelers. The company has announced a massive discount of Rs. 3 lakh on its Captur SUV. Additionally, Renault is offering discounts on other models including the facelifted versions of KWID and Duster. As part of the year-end offer, select Renault dealerships are offering hefty benefits in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonus, and complimentary insurance. The Renault Captur is available with a discount of Rs. 3 lakh while the Lodgy is up for grabs with Rs. 2 lakh off. Similarly, the facelifted Duster can be purchased with an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000.

To recall, Renault Captur comes with a distinctive sporty design featuring a two-tone color scheme and sporty-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels. Touted as 'India's Most Stylish SUV', the car features an aggressive look with blacked-out wheel arches as well as side claddings, a roof-mounted spoiler, and silver-colored front and rear skid plates. Furthermore, it offers indicator-mounted ORVMs and an all-LED setup for lighting.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Captur offers a five-seater cabin with body-colored highlights surrounding the infotainment unit and AC vents, six-way adjustable leatherette seats, and a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel. The car also houses a 7-inch infotainment unit with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity features. In addition, it gets standard safety features including driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
Power and performance
The Renault Captur is offered in 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol unit is capable of producing 106PS of maximum power and 142Nm of peak torque, while the diesel mill churns out 110PS and 240Nm. Notably, both these engines are available with 5-speed or 6-speed manual gearbox options.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Renault Captur costs Rs. 9.49 lakh for the entry-level RXE variant and goes upto Rs. 12.99 lakh for the Platine diesel model. At this price point, it goes up against Hyundai Venue, Kia Seltos, and MG Hector.
