2022 Yamaha YZF-R15S V3 to get two new shades
Japanese automaker Yamaha is expected to launch a new version of its YZF-R15S V3 motorbike in India on April 11. It will get two new colors, namely Red and Dark Knight. As for the highlights, the bike will have an aggressive design and offer a full-LED setup for lighting. It will continue to be fueled by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve engine.

The motorbike will have a windshield and alloy wheels
The 2022 Yamaha YZF-R15S V3 will sit on a Deltabox frame and have a muscular fuel tank, a stepped-up seat, a raised windscreen, a side-mounted exhaust, and arrowhead-shaped mirrors. The motorcycle will pack an all-LED setup for lighting, a digital instrument console, and shall ride on alloy wheels. It will store 11 liters of fuel and tip the scales at 142kg.
It will run on an 18hp, 155cc engine
The 2022 Yamaha YZF-R15S V3 will be powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, VVA-equipped, single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 18.34hp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 14.1Nm at 8,500rpm. The motor will be linked to a 6-speed gearbox.
It will get 41mm telescopic front forks
In terms of safety equipment, the new Yamaha YZF-R15S V3 will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the two-wheeler will be taken care of by 41mm telescopic forks on the front side and a mono-cross unit on the rear end.
2022 Yamaha YZF-R15S V3: Pricing
Yamaha will announce the pricing information of its new YZF-R15S V3 sports bike in India at the upcoming launch event. However, it should carry a premium over the current model, which starts at Rs. 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom).
