Citroen to commence pre-bookings for C5 Aircross in March 2021
Citroen's first product in India, the C5 Aircross, is expected to be launched in the country in the coming weeks. In the latest development, the company has confirmed that the pre-bookings for the car will begin in March this year. To recall, the C5 Aircross has already been unveiled and it will be offered in two variants: Feel and Shine.
Citroen C5 Aircross: At a glance
The Citroen C5 Aircross features a sporty body, housing a two-part grille with the top one connecting the headlamps. It also has chrome-finished dual exhaust pipes, a rear window washer and defogger, adjustable halogen headlights, LED DRLs, and LED taillights. On the sides, it is flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, power-adjustable ORVMs, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Power and performance
The Citroen C5 Aircross runs on a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter diesel engine that is tuned to deliver 174hp of power and 400Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties on the car are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Inside the cabin
The Citroen C5 Aircross offers a spacious 5-seater cabin with leather seats, a power steering wheel, 2-zone climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, and a panoramic sunroof. It packs six speakers and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For safety, the SUV has provisions like six airbags, 'Follow Me Home' headlamps, and a rear camera.
What about the price?
