Gujarat-based YouTuber turns Honda Civic into a Lamborghini-inspired supercar
Gujarat-based YouTuber Tanna Dhaval has recently gained internet fame for his unique project of transforming a 2008 Honda Civic into a Lamborghini-inspired supercar. The ambitious project, which took over a year to finish, cost Dhaval ₹12.5 lakh. The modified car bears an uncanny resemblance to the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio electric concept, featuring similar wheel arches, twin doors, and a long windshield. Dhaval documented the entire transformation process on his YouTube channel for his viewers to witness this automotive metamorphosis.
The intricate process behind the supercar transformation
The modification of the Honda Civic required intensive fabrication and numerous custom parts. Dhaval had to cut and redesign the chassis of the vehicle to match his new design, costing over ₹1 lakh. Labor charges for this transformation amounted to another ₹3 lakh. Most parts were custom fabricated, while glass components were replaced with acrylic sheets covered in a black film, adding a sleek touch to the supercar look-alike.
Unique elements and interior changes
Dhaval's modified car features unique elements such as a '63' sticker on the doors, signifying Lamborghini's birth year of 1963. He also added five-spoke aftermarket alloys to the project car and placed the Lamborghini Raging Bull logo, on the hood and wheels. The interior changes include sports seats, a flat-bottom sporty steering wheel, new upholstery, and a widescreen infotainment system. However, Dhaval has not disclosed any changes to the engine of his project car.
