CFMoto 800MT adventure bike revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show
Chinese automaker CFMoto has revealed its 800MT adventure motorcycle at the Shanghai Auto Show 2021. It is offered in two versions: touring and off-road. As for the highlights, the two-wheeler has a sporty look and comes with a 7.0-inch instrument cluster as well as a host of riding aids. It is powered by a 799cc, parallel-twin engine. The bike sports a raised windshield
CFMoto 800MT has an aggressive design, featuring a muscular fuel tank, a stepped-up seat, heated grips, skid-plate, a split headlight setup, and a raised windscreen. It packs a 7.0-inch instrument console with support for navigation and rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The touring model has cast aluminium alloys, while the off-road variant runs on spoked wheels wrapped in knobby tires.
It runs on a 95hp, 799cc engine
The CFMoto 800MT bike draws power from a KTM 790 Adventure-sourced 799cc, parallel-twin engine which makes around 95hp of maximum power and 78.6Nm of peak torque. The mill is linked to a 6-speed gearbox.
Disc brakes on both the wheels ensure safety
To ensure the rider's safety, the CFMoto 800MT is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with throttle-by-wire, traction control, cruise control, and cornering ABS, for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the vehicle are taken care of by inverted KYB forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.

Details pertaining to the pricing and availability of CFMoto 800MT in India will be revealed at the time of launch. However, it is expected to sport a price-figure of around Rs. 13 lakh (ex-showroom).
