Royal Enfield Himalayan: At a glance
The upcoming bike is likely to retain the design of the outgoing model. Hence, it is expected to offer a naked street design with a slightly stepped-up seat, an upswept exhaust, and a rounded headlamp as well as mirrors. Besides that, it will house off-road friendly elements such as hazard switch that turns on both indicators, side panniers, off-road friendly tires, and spoked wheels.
Power and performance

However, the automaker will update the existing 410cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine to meet the emission norms. In its present state of tune, this unit churns out 24.83PS of power at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm.
What about safety and suspension setup?
On the safety front, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan bike will come equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, along with switchable ABS which turns off the ABS for rear wheel, offering an improved off-roading experience. To handle suspension duties, the motorcycle is likely to house telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock absorber on the rear.
And, what about pricing?
