Deliveries of BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 bike to commence soon
Japanese automaker Kawasaki has announced that deliveries of its BS6-compliant Ninja 300 motorbike will commence in India soon. To recall, it was launched last month and its bookings are open. As for the highlights, the two-wheeler has a sporty design, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and draws power from a 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. Here's our roundup.

The bike comes in three colors
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is built on a diamond-steel frame and has a muscular fuel tank, a stepped-up saddle, fairing-integrated turn indicators, an upswept exhaust, and a twin-pod headlight. The bike packs a semi-digital instrument cluster, a halogen headlamp, a LED taillight, and rides on designer wheels. It is offered in three shades: Lime Green with KRT graphics, Ebony, and Candy Lime Green.
It runs on a 38hp, 296cc engine
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a BS6-compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that generates 38.4hp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The mill is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Dual-channel ABS ensures better handling
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS, for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorbike are taken care of by 37mm telescopic forks on the front side and Uni-Trak gas-charged shock absorbers with 5-way adjustable pre-load on the rear end.

In India, the BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 carries a price-tag of Rs. 3.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it roughly Rs. 20,000 more expensive than its BS4 counterpart. Its deliveries will start soon.
