Suzuki launches BS6-compliant Gixxer and Gixxer SF 155 motorcycles
What's the story
After unveiling its BS6-compliant two-wheeler range at the 2020 Auto Expo, Suzuki has launched the updated versions of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF 155 models.
The new 155cc range comes at a starting price of Rs. 1.12 lakh and produces marginally lesser power than their respective BS4 counterparts.
Apart from the engine upgrade, the new motorcycles are almost the same as the outgoing variants.
Design
A look at both the motorcycles
Both the Gixxer and Gixxer SF 155 feature a sporty look with stepped-up seats, fully-digital instrument console, and blacked-out alloy wheels. However, the former sports a naked-street design while the latter gets a fully-faired look.
There is also a Gixxer SF MotoGP edition which is almost the same as the SF 155 model but comes with a special MotoGP-inspired livery and graphics work.
