Honda Unicorn: At a glance
The updated Honda Unicorn sits on a diamond frame and gets a semi-faired design with angular-looking fuel tank, a flat-type seat, and an attractive graphics work. The motorcycle gets a blacked-out treatment on the engine, alloy wheels, and exhausts. Further, it is offered in Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matte Axis Gray Metallic color options.
Power and performance
The new Honda Unicorn is powered by a BS6-compliant 162.7cc air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company is yet to reveal the power figures of the updated motor. But, with the BS6 update, we may witness a marginal change in power. In its BS4 guise, the engine churns out 14hp and 13.92Nm.
What about safety and suspension setup?
In the braking department, the BS6-compliant Honda Unicorn comes equipped with disc brakes on the front wheel, drum brake on the rear wheel, along with single-channel ABS for improved braking efficiency. The suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock absorber on the rear.
