    What's the story

Bajaj Auto is working to launch the BS6-compliant version of its flagship motorcycle, the Dominar 400, in India soon.

Now, citing a leaked RTO document, BikeDekho has revealed the power figures of the upcoming sports tourer.

Separately, a recent leak also revealed that the new model would carry a premium of around Rs. 1,750 over its BS4 counterpart.

    Here are more details.

A look at the BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400

The BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 will retain the underpinnings and styling cues of its BS4 counterpart, but could be slightly heavier.

The motorcycle will come with a sporty design featuring a muscular fuel tank, dual-exhausts, and blacked-out alloy wheels.

Further, it will house a fully-digital instrument console and all-LED fitments for lighting.

The new Bajaj Dominar 400 will be powered by the same 373.3cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine as the outgoing model, albeit in BS6 avatar.

The updated motor will reportedly generate 39.97PS of maximum power which is marginally lesser than the BS4 model. It is likely to churn out 35Nm of peak torque and will also be comparatively more fuel efficient.

The suspension duties on the motorcycle will be taken care of by upside-down telescopic forks up front and a multi-step adjustable mono-shock unit on the rear.
