BMW X3 Shadow Edition launched in India at ₹75 lakh
BMW India has unveiled a special edition of its X3 SUV, the X3 Shadow Edition, with a price tag of ₹74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This exclusive model is available in the xDrive20d M Sport trim. The Shadow Edition features several exterior enhancements such as a blacked-out kidney grille, window graphics, roof rails, high-gloss black tailpipes, and kidney frame and bars.
Exterior and interior features
The BMW X3 Shadow Edition rides on 19-inch Y-spoke style 887 M alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV boasts a multi-function steering wheel and electric seat adjustment with memory function, all wrapped in leather Vernasca upholstery. The cabin includes a panoramic glass roof, a welcome light carpet, and ambient lighting with six dimmable settings. Additional features include 3-zone automatic climate control, electroplated controls, and roller sunblinds.
Advanced infotainment and sound system
The BMW X3 Shadow Edition features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the BMW Operating System 7.0. This system includes BMW Gesture Control, 3D navigation, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For an immersive audio experience, the vehicle houses a 464W Harman Kardon surround sound system with 16 speakers and individually adjustable equalizer settings.
It can attain a top-speed of 213km/h
The BMW X3 Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, mated with an eight-speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission, offering 190hp/400Nm. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 213km/h.
Ensuring safety with advanced features
The BMW X3 Shadow Edition also features electronically-controlled Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks (ADB-X), extended Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), hill start assist, and hill descent control for enhanced driving performance. It also comes with six airbags, an antilock braking system (ABS) featuring brake assist, attentiveness assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC) with dynamic traction control (DTC), and cornering brake control (CBC).
