BMW M4 Competition xDrive goes official at Rs. 1.43 crore
German automaker BMW has launched its M4 Competition xDrive model in India. It is the brand's 10th high-performance M product in its line-up here. As for the highlights, the premium four-wheeler has a head-turning look and a luxurious cabin loaded with a bevy of driver assistance features. It is fueled by a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo, straight-six engine that puts out 501hp of power.

The BMW M4 Competition xDrive looks almost similar to the BMW 4 Series barring a few M-specific changes. At a premium price, it offers a good balance of new-age features and excellent performance. The car has adaptive LED headlights and quad exhaust tips
BMW M4 Competition xDrive has a large kidney grille with horizontal bars, a roof made from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), and adaptive LED headlights with BMW Laserlight technology. It is flanked by ORVMs, sculpted wheel arches with M gills, and M light-alloy wheels. A shark-fin antenna, a rear spoiler, wrap-around taillamps, and four exhaust tips grace the rear end of the vehicle.
The four-wheeler gets a head-up display and ventilated seats
BMW M4 Competition xDrive gets electrically adjustable ventilated M sport seats, fine-grain Merino leather upholstery, 3-zone automatic climate control, LED interior lighting, a head-up display, and a multifunctional steering wheel. It houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Park Distance Control, Cruise Control, and Emergency Lane Assistance ensure the passengers' safety.
It attains a top-speed of 290km/h
BMW M4 Competition runs on a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo, straight-six engine that makes 501hp/650Nm. The mill is paired to an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox and an xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The car can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds and hit a top-speed of 290km/h. An electronically controlled multi-plate clutch, an M Active Differential, and a Dynamic Stability Control System ensure better performance.
