BMW M340i xDrive sold out in India within few days
BMW's 3 Series M340i xDrive, which was launched in India a couple of days back, has been sold out. Customers interested in purchasing the performance-centric sedan will now have to join a waiting list. For the uninitiated, the prices of the car were announced in India on March 10 and the bookings had commenced on March 5. Here's our roundup.
It sports a chrome-accented kidney grille
The BMW M340i xDrive sedan features a sloping roofline, a muscular bonnet, and the company's signature kidney grille with chrome accents. It also has a wide air dam, a rear spoiler, an integrated antenna, sleek LED headlights and wrap-around taillights, On the sides, it is flanked by indicator-mounted ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The sedan is offered in three color schemes.
It runs on a 387hp, 3.0-liter engine
The BMW M340i XDrive draws power from a BS6-compliant 3.0-liter twin-turbo, 6-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 387hp of power and 500Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with an xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
The sedan offers a premium 5-seater cabin
The BMW 3 Series M340i XDrive has a 5-seater cabin with leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 3-zone automatic climate control, and power windows. It also packs a head-up display, a digital instrument cluster, 16 speakers, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. For safety, the car has six airbags and a rear-view camera.
