    What's the story

If you are a motorhead and looking for a Christmas gift for yourself, a premium sports bike could be a great present.

As part of the year-end offer, select BMW Motorrad dealerships are reportedly offering the G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles at their respective ex-showroom prices.

Apart from that, you can also avail a Schuberth helmet worth Rs. 60,000 for free.

    Offer

Here are the finer details about the offer

As part of the limited period offer, which will be valid till December 25, you can buy the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles at their ex-showroom prices of Rs. 2.99 lakh and Rs. 3.49 lakh, respectively.

It implies the additional charges related to RTO registration fees, insurance cost, etc. will be taken care of by the dealerships.

    Design

    Here's what these motorcycles offer

    The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS feature a semi-faired sporty design with handlebar-mounted rear-view mirrors, up-swept exhaust, a muscular-looking fuel tank, and blacked-out alloy wheels.

However, the former is a roadster while the latter is an adventure tourer designed for off-roading purposes.

Also, both the motorcycles house a fully-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlamps and LED taillights.

    Information

    Power and performance

The BMW G 310 siblings draw power from a BS4-compliant 313cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine which comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This unit is capable of producing 34bhp of maximum power and 28Nm of peak torque.

    Safety

Finally, what about safety and suspension setup?

In the safety department, the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS come equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better grip on the road.

The motorcycles house inverted telescopic forks up front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock unit on the rear to handle the suspension duties.
