2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible breaks cover
British luxury carmaker Bentley has unveiled a convertible version of its Continental GT Speed coupe, which was revealed last month. As for the highlights, the premium four-wheeler sports cosmetic updates inside-out and comes with new features. It draws power from a 650hp, 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine and can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Here's our roundup.
It is offered with seven roof color options
The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible features a large rectangular blacked-out grille, a wide air dam, a power antenna, rounded adjustable headlights, sleek ORVMs, multi-spoke 22-inch alloy wheels, and a chromed 'Speed' badging on the front bumper. It is offered in seven roof color options. The convertible roof can be deployed/retracted in just 19 seconds, while moving at speeds of up to 50km/h.
The car has a luxurious cabin packed with features
The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible offers a 4-seater cabin with dual-tone leather and Alcantara accents on seats, dashboard, and the steering wheel. It comes in 15 options for the main hide, and another 11 options for the secondary hide. For the safety of the passengers, the vehicle has provisions for multiple airbags, traction control, a rear-view camera, and crash sensors.
It runs on a 659hp, W12 engine
The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible draws power from a 6.0-liter W12 motor that is tuned to produce 659hp of power and 900Nm of peak torque. The mill comes linked to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The unit allows the car to sprint from 0-100km/h at 3.7 seconds with a top-speed of 335km/h.
2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: Pricing
The pricing of the 2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible has not been announced as of now. However, it should carry some premium over the traditional GT model which begins at $202,500 (approximately Rs. 1.47 crore).
